Choose 4-5 ripe, juicy oranges and wash them thoroughly under running water.
Cut the oranges in half and remove any seeds.
Using a citrus juicer or a manual citrus squeezer, extract the juice from the orange halves.
Pour the extracted juice through a strainer into a glass or a jug to remove any pulp or remaining seeds.
If desired, add sugar or honey to taste and stir well.
Serve the orange juice chilled or over ice.
