Chilli Gobhi
Chilli Gobhi is a delicious Indo-Chinese fusion dish made with crispy fried cauliflower florets tossed in a spicy and tangy sauce. It's a perfect appetizer or side dish for any meal. Ingredients: Cauliflower, Black pepper powder, Ginger, Tomato sauce, Corn starch, Spring onion, Red chilli sauce, Garlic, Red chilli powder, Onion, Capsicum, Soy sauce, Green chilli, Maida, Cooking oil

Cut 500 grams of cauliflower into medium-sized florets and wash them thoroughly.

In a bowl, mix 4 tablespoons of cornflour, 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour (maida), 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder, 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder, and salt to taste. Add water gradually to make a thick batter.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Dip the cauliflower florets in the batter and deep fry them until they turn golden brown. Remove and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

In another pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil. Add 1 tablespoon of finely chopped garlic, 1 tablespoon of finely chopped ginger, and 2-3 chopped green chillies. Sauté for a minute.

Add 1/4 cup of chopped onions and 1/4 cup of chopped capsicum. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn slightly soft.

Add 2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup, 2 tablespoons of red chilli sauce, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder. Mix well and cook for a minute.

Add the fried cauliflower florets to the pan and toss them in the sauce until they are well coated.

Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and serve hot.
