Chicken Hot And Sour Soup

Chicken Hot and Sour Soup is a delicious Indo-Chinese dish that combines spicy and tangy flavors, perfect for warming up your taste buds on a chilly day. In a bowl, mix 200 grams of boneless chicken (cut into small pieces) with 1 tablespoon of cornflour, salt, and pepper. Set aside for 10 minutes.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a deep pan. Add 1 tablespoon of finely chopped garlic and 1 tablespoon of finely chopped ginger. Sauté for a minute.

Add the marinated chicken pieces to the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.

Pour 1 liter of chicken stock into the pan and bring it to a boil.

Add 1/4 cup of finely chopped carrots, 1/4 cup of finely chopped cabbage, and 1/4 cup of chopped mushrooms. Cook for 3-4 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of cornflour with 1/4 cup of water. Add this mixture to the soup to thicken it.

Add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder, and salt to taste. Mix well.

Add 1 beaten egg to the soup, stirring continuously to form egg ribbons.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, then garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
