Butterscotch Cake
Indulge in the rich and creamy delight of a butterscotch cake, perfect for celebrations or satisfying your sweet tooth. Ingredients: Butterscotch flavoured milk, Chips, Vanilla essence, Baking powder, Candy, Maida, Eggs, Bura, Baking soda, Unsalted butter

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and line a 9-inch round cake tin with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine 200 grams of all-purpose flour (maida), 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda. Mix well and set aside.

In another bowl, whisk together 200 grams of softened unsalted butter and 200 grams of powdered sugar until light and fluffy.

Add 4 eggs, one at a time, to the butter-sugar mixture, whisking well after each addition.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.

Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence and 1/4 cup of butterscotch chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

For the frosting, beat 200 grams of softened unsalted butter, 400 grams of powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of butterscotch essence until smooth and creamy.

Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled cake and garnish with additional butterscotch chips or crushed butterscotch candies.
