Besan Laddu
Besan Laddu is a popular Indian sweet made from gram flour, ghee, and sugar, garnished with nuts. These melt-in-your-mouth treats are perfect for festivals and celebrations. Ingredients: Besan, Ghee, Cardamom powder, Bura, Almonds, Cashews

In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat 250 grams of ghee on low flame.

Add 250 grams of besan (gram flour) to the ghee and roast it on low flame for 20-25 minutes, stirring continuously until the besan turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.

Remove the pan from heat and let the besan mixture cool down to room temperature.

In a separate bowl, mix 125 grams of powdered sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder.

Add the cooled besan mixture to the sugar mixture and mix well.

Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a round ball (laddu) using your palms. Repeat this process for the remaining mixture.

Garnish the laddus with chopped almonds or cashews (optional).
