Take 250 grams of pistachios and grind them into a fine powder using a mixer grinder.

In a non-stick pan, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee on low flame.

Add the ground pistachio powder to the pan and roast it for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously to avoid burning.

Add 200 grams of milk powder and mix well with the roasted pistachio powder.

In a separate pan, prepare sugar syrup by boiling 200 grams of sugar with 1/2 cup of water until it reaches a one-string consistency.

Pour the sugar syrup into the pistachio and milk powder mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

Cook the mixture on low flame for 5-7 minutes until it thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.

Grease a tray or plate with ghee and pour the cooked pista barfi mixture onto it. Spread it evenly and let it cool for a few minutes.

Garnish the pista barfi with 2 tablespoons of finely chopped pistachios and gently press them into the mixture.

Allow the pista barfi to cool completely and set for at least 2 hours. Once set, cut it into desired shapes and serve.
