This is an oral contraceptive pill for preventing unplanned pregnancies. It is a regular birth control pill which is to be taken daily for 21 days, starting on the 5th day of your menstrual cycle. Taking daily suppresses ovulation or release of egg. In the absence of an egg, conception is avoided.
